White Lotus Yoga

Founded by American Yoga pioneer Ganga White in 1967, White Lotus has been one of the influential Yoga centers to shape the modern flow-based Yoga scene in the West – and it has lost none of its steam. The retreat center, beautifully set in the mountains above Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean, hosts scores of guests every year who flock to this formerly native American sacred land looking to immerse themselves in deep spiritual and physical practice. Three-day Yoga retreats on different themes are available on a regular basis, as are 16-day Yoga teacher trainings (four times a year) and courses in Therapeutic Yoga and Thai Yoga therapy. You are invited to make yourself at home in one of the shared and comfortably equipped yurts or tents spread around the 40-acre ground, with private rooms available on request. The unique Southern Californian climate allows for close communication with nature, to be enjoyed year-round on hiking trails, at the waterfall or in one of the sandstone swimming holes.
