Absorb the peaceful energy of island life as you step out of your colonial style villa into the open air living spaces - a place where you can truly relax and retreat. Each bedroom has all the modern comforts - from iPod dock stereo to A/C and fresh cotton linens- and is filled with feminine details that reflect a love of the ocean and the exotic culture of Bali.

Set in a quiet area of Seminyak, the Goddess Retreat space captures the ocean breeze and is surrounded by lush and colourful tropical gardens. Goddesses needn’t worry about feeling isolated either. The retreat is within easy reach of fantastic shops, spas, cafes, and attractions – but honestly, who would want to leave?

During the 7 day retreat goddess guests can expect to bring harmony and balance to their mind, body and spirit with the yin (inward: yoga) and yang (outward: worldly activity) approach to movement. The retreat offers twice-daily yoga classes that are taught in a progressive workshop style. In addition, there are two half-day excursions that include your choice of fitness, cultural and well-being activities, like stand up paddle boarding, jungle hiking & rice paddy walks, white water rafting, cycling through the Balinese countryside, learning to surf, and Indonesian cooking classes.

Guests rave about the exquisite whole food meals prepared on-site using only the freshest ingredients like locally grown organic greens and sustainable wild seafood. Inspired and delectable meals are served 3 times a day and aim to rebalance and detoxify, while endless purified spring water, coffee, tea, fruit baskets and snacks are available throughout the day. Guests with specific dining preferences (eg. Vegan, Vegetarian, Dairy/Sugar/Gluten-free) will be happily catered to.

Bali Goddesses are invited to surrender to the beauty and healing cultures of Bali where traditional treatments and therapies have been handed down from generation to generation for centuries. Every retreat package includes revitalizing massage and spa treatments that can be taken at your leisure at their on-site therapy villa. Optional alternative therapies are available upon request and include session with Ketut Liyer or Ibu Wayan made famous in Elizabeth Gilbert’s best-selling novel “Eat, Pray, Love”.

It’s no mistake that these retreats are called Goddess Retreats and are something that every yogini seeking adventure, wellness and pampering will rejoice in. Women wanting to connect with the power and beauty of nature will be delighted to learn that Goddess Retreats also offer sublime surfing retreats (don’t worry- pampering is still on the schedule!)

About the area

Seminyak is the luxe-town of Bali. Just a few years ago this was a forgotten backwater, lost among the treasures and pleasures of the Balinese natural splendor. Now it is home to high-end restaurants, designer shopping and up-scale resorts. With Kuta just 15 minutes drive south and the quiet tranquil beauty of Canggu less than half an hour north, Seminyak is a hot-spot for visitors and locals with a little cash to splash. The dining here is world-class, and of course the beach is worth a visit, but serious surfers will be more impressed with other parts of Bali. Traffic congestion is a constant issue in Seminyak and there is the ever-present, confusing Balinese habit of having multiple names for a single road, but apart from these oddly charming quirks there are few places better suited to a luxury getaway than this hopping town.
